Teacher Training Programs with Angela Jervis-Read; E-RYT
Angela lived at Samasati Yoga Center from 2003-2007 and knows the resort as well as the surrounding area very well. She can direct you to desolate beaches, the best cafe in town and has a relationship with locals that will take you off the beaten path. She can answer questions you have about tours and other tourist attractions that you may be interested in.
Silent beach walks, meditative jungle and waterfall treks as well as other creative ways of incorporating this amazing environment will be used to enrich your studies and to help you to deepen your connection to both the earth and your Self.

Fully immersing yourself in your studies without the day to day responsibilities that you would have to attend to at home, is an absolute luxury. Having no phone calls to return and no emails to respond to clears the way for you to focus and fully engage yourself in your education.
Yoga intensives allow you not only to intellectually comprehend the material being presented but also adds an experiential dimension. We are not just studying yoga but living the lifestyle as well. Authentic teachings spring from daily sadhana (practice), as we can only inspire in others what we have first mastered in our own bodies, hearts and minds.
